Another group finished its studies at the Corvinus Humán Management course where I lectured about the practical knowledge of HR. This was a jubileum year, this group was the 10th during my career, I was a bit surprised when thinking back and realizing that I have been teaching the younger generation since 2008.
Looking back over the past 10 years I think about the many interactive discussions and professional debates yet laughter and humor we have had. But I also think about how few HR courses for professionals are available where after reviewing the international trends and practices you can have a lively debate or critique of various management decisions. Or to discuss the topic that due to the labour shortage HR is now almost limited to recruitment activity in Hungary, while outside of the country a radical change of the HR profession is happening and discuss how could we change the current situation.
It also comes to my mind how great a feeling it was during all these years on Saturday mornings to walk across the bridge to get to the University. These Saturday mornings started with sunshine and positive energy. I feel lucky to having had the opportunity to share all the experience I gained with the future generation.
I am proud to be part of the knowledge transfer and educate the future professionals.
